PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a petri dish for in vitro fertilization which achieves high fertility percentage in vitro fertilization and enables the confirmation of the end of in vitro fertilization, and a fertilization environment similar to a physiological oviduct to increase the contacting efficiency of motile sperms with an ovum as far as possible to improve the fertility percentage, and enabling the confirmation of the exposure of the ovum to the sperm.;SOLUTION: The petri dish for in vitro fertilization includes a first wall and a first bottom. The first bottom includes a sperm holding part to hold a sperm suspension and a sperm confirmation part separated from the sperm holding part, and having a second wall and a transparent second bottom positioned at a level lower than the first bottom.
