PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens shift device which is made small and compact as a whole and has low cost by sharing some components, and is therefore optimum for optical equipment. PSOLUTION: The lens shift device includes: guide mechanism parts 3h, 3v, etc., for guiding a lens support part 2 supporting a projection lens L, at least in a horizontal direction Fh or vertical direction Fv; manual operation parts 4h, 4v which are manually turnable; and motion transmission mechanism parts 6h, 6v including motion converting mechanism parts 5h, 5v for motion-converting the turn displacements of the manual operation parts 4h, 4v, thereby displacing the lens support part 2 along the guide mechanism parts 3h, 3v, etc. At least one motion transmission mechanism parts 6v is provided with a clutch mechanism 7v configured such that if the torque of the manual operation part 4v exceeds a predetermined magnitude in a limit position where the lens support part 2 is displaced, the transmission mechanism of the motion transmission mechanism part 6v is stopped and the manual operation part 4v idly rotates.
