There are provided embodiments for providing Doppler information of a target object by using vector Doppler. In one embodiment, by way of non-limiting example, an ultrasound system comprises: a processing unit configured to form vector information of a target object based on ultrasound data corresponding to the target object, the processing unit being further configured to form motion information corresponding to motion of the target object based on the vector information, wherein the motion information includes at least one of a Doppler spectrum image and a Doppler sound.
