A ground granulated blast furnace slag for sulfate resistant cement comprising a mixture of ground granulated blast furnace slag with an alumina content of 12 to 17.5 mass % and high dissolution rate gypsum of 2 to 6 mass % of gypsum converted to mass of SO₃.
