In view of the above state of the art, it is an object of the present invention to provide an optical layered body which can prevent the agglomeration of silica particles and form the desired surface roughness on the surface.;An optical layered body comprising a light-transmitting substrate and an antiglare layer having a surface roughness on its surface,wherein said antiglare layer is a resin layer containing an organic particle and a nonspherical silica, anda weight ratio of organic particle/nonspherical silica is from 1/10 to 60/10.
