The present Invention relates to the fields of Agriculture, plant breeding or Genetic Manipulation for plants with higher yield, Estimation of Crop and Crop Management.In particular, the methods described here methods to predict performance of a Plant through the action of specific metabolites, either individually or in combination with another in a Plant specific Reproductive tissue.Plant Predictive methods described here can be used to predict the performance of Plant populations, as well as to allow more efficient Crop Management Practices (e.g., amount and timing of the applications of Chemical Products, or amount of irrigated Water We applied a Field).Claim 1: a method for Predicting the performance in a Plant, the method comprising: (a) take a Tissue sample of female inflorescence Pollinated from a Plant; b) one or more Markers to measure the performance of metabolites in the tissue of a); (c) compare the level Is the performance of markers of Metabolites measured in b) compared to a Calibration Curve.The calibration Curve for grain yield correlates with the levels of markers of tissue metabolites measured in the performance of female inflorescence Pollinated; and (d) to predict the Grain yield in a Plant.
