INITIATORS, DIAGNOSIS FOR MALARIA CAUSED BY PLASMODIUM FALCIPARUM AND PLASMODIUM VIVAX AND METHOD. The present invention describes a novel approach for mitochondrial DNA amplification (mtDNA) with novel primers for diagnostic use of parasite infections. The methodology described in this invention allows to differentiate infections caused by parasites) especially Plusmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax. Primers, part of the object of this invention, were designed to hybridize specific segments present in Plasmodiumfalciparum and Plasmodium vivax genes. The present invention also describes a method for enhancing the specificity and sensitivity of diagnostics using PCR and Real Time PCR. As well, the present invention describes a kit for detection of plasmid infection and infectious agent differentiation, which can be further applied in immunity study with emphasis on vaccine development and blood donor selection.
