SUGAR CANE DRY CLEANING PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT, COLLECTED IN TOLETS AND CONTAINING STRAW AND OTHER IMPURSES. The process comprises the steps of: distributing a load of sugarcane, with mineral and vegetable impurities, on a conveyor belt (12), forming a sugarcane mattress and impurities therein; subjecting the mattress to a metering and spreading operation, forming a thin dispersed curtain, in gravitational displacement in a first chamber portion (15); subjecting the cane curtain and impurities to a forced upward transverse air flow by moving the impurities out of the curtain and into a first collector compartment (21) and a second and third chamber portion ( 22 and 27); deflect the forced air flow fraction; received in the third chamber portion (27), obtusely in a plurality of adjustable louvers (28), decompressing the air flow; discharge the load of clean cane and impurities through respective lower outlets of clean cane (19) and impurities (21a, 23a and 26a).
