The present invention relates fermentation strain of Saccharomyces pastorianus RIBM 6 and its possible use in the brewing industry for the manufacture of alcoholic or nonalcoholic beer, alone or in combination with other microorganisms. The invention further relates to products containing this strain optionally containing a concentrate of the strain.
