A tank (1) with a liquid can be vertically shifted by a lifting device (2) to a such position in which, the ball (3) to be checked, a portion of a control system (4), a portion of a ball inlet (5), a ball separator (6) and a lower portion of a ball conveyor (7) are submersed under the level of the tank (1) liquid. An allocated sensor (8) serves for monitoring the height of the liquid level and for addition of the liquid from a storage tank (9). The allocated ball conveyor (7) serves for transportation of the checked balls (3) from the liquid of the tank (1).
