A process is described for preparing a solid dispersion of a drug, comprising forming a solution or a suspension of a drug in a system of solvents, where the system of solvents comprises at least one non-volatile solvent component selected from the group comprising glacial acetic acid and water; and spray-drying the mixture to form a solid dispersion where the drug is a compound of the claim. The embodiments of solid dispersion of a drug having anti-viral activity and prepared in accordance with the proposed methods are also described.
