Method for processing non-uniformly digitised signals, comprising the stages of programming the impedance analyser and analysing the impedance. The programming stage includes selecting a set of excitation signal frequencies and setting up a generator for functioning at these excitation signal frequencies; calculating a matrix of cross-interference coefficients for said set of excitation signal frequencies; inverting the matrix of cross-interference coefficients for said set of excitation signal frequencies and storing said inverted matrix in a memory. Analysing the impedance includes estimating a set of Fourier coefficients and adapting said Fourier coefficient estimates to sampling non- uniformities. The method is most suitable for non-uniform measuring of bioimpedance at frequencies from 1MHz.
