the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical formulation in the form of tablets, bi layer consisting of a first layer containing the pharmaceutically acceptable salts of irbesartan and thereof, and a second layer containing a hmg coa reductase inhibitor and an additive f tto improve the dissolution rate and stability of irbesartan, an inhibitor of hmg coa reductase activity in order to increase the bioavailability of the drug compared to conventional complex formulations and to minimize the generation of related compounds.in such a way as to be effectively used as a therapeutic agent is stable and superior in high blood pressure and cholesterol.
