The invention relates to biotechnology and can be used in agriculture for Curculionidae control.The strain of bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki, isolated from natural environment, is deposited in the National Collection of Nonpathogenic Microorganisms under the number CNMN-BB-03 and can be used for the production of bioinsecticides.The strain of bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki CNMN-BB-03 exhibits pronounced insecticidal activity against Curculionidae.
