The present invention describes a fixed device for eliminating or reducing a vortex formed while a liquid is poured such as melted steel trough an outlet. Said device prevents impurities floating over the liquid surface, such as liquid steel slag contained in a furnace or pot, from being entrained by the vortex, thereby avoiding the liquid contamination, and increasing the pouring volume, as well as the product efficiency and productivity.
