The present disclosure describes a trans-gastric jejunal tube (TJ) that avoids migration of the tube upwardly into the stomach. It does this because of alternating stiff and flexible sections. The stiffer sections resist migration and the more flexible or softer portions allow the tube to bend around the pyloris sphincter 5 and into the jejunum. This also allows for a larger diameter feeding lumen than would otherwise be the case.
