Input data comprising an initial value of the collateral asset at the commencement of the financing arrangement, or at a time proximate thereto; a concluding value of the collateral asset at the conclusion of the financing arrangement, or at a time proximate thereto; a principal value being an amount advanced at the commencement of the financing arrangement; a first predetermined share; and a second predetermined share is inputted into data processing apparatus. The data processing apparatus is instructed to calculate the amount to be repaid at the conclusion of the financing arrangement.
