The invention relates to a process for preparing an elastomer composite used for anticorrosion protection of metal structures in the marine environment. According to the invention, the process consists in cold mixing a composition comprising 100 parts of nitrile rubber, 38...42 parts of acrylonitrile, 5...15 parts of zinc phosphate, 3...10 parts of organo-metallic copper compounds, 20...50 parts of copper oxide, 2...5 parts of organic sulphur compound, 0.1...0.5 parts of peroxide cleavable by a redox mechanism, the parts being expressed by weight, the composition being used as such, as sealing mastic or as a tape with a thickness of 1...3 mm on which there is applied a pressure-sensitive adhesive, thus there resulting a self-adhesive tape with anticorrosion and antifouling properties.
