PROCESS AND SETTLER PREVENTING CLOGGING OF STORAGE LAKES OF HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANTS

The invention relates to a process and a settler for preventing clogging in a reduced number of accumulations in the field area before the water course empties into the lake. According to the invention, the process consists in placing a submersible settler on a debris cone of an accumulation lake and at an inflow mouth of a water course, carried out at the multi-annual average elevation of the water upon entering the lake, simultaneously with making the settler there being made a gravel pit for exploiting the clogged aggregates. As claimed, the settler consists of more meander-shaped guide dikes (1), placed thus on a debris cone so as to create a sinusoidal bed, on an anchoring block (3) placed on a fasces bed (5) there being cast in position some concrete blocks, on the concave sides of the dikes (1) there being provided some short spurs (5), and on the opposite sides on the dikes (1) there being made some hook-like groynes (2).
