Lactobacillus strains obtained from the vaccines GynevacR, GynatrenR and SolcoTrichovacR in inactivated form and carries and/or excipients commonly used in vaccine preparations for use in treating prostate inflammation and benign prostate hyperplasias (stages I and II) and a method of treating these conditions by intramuscular administration an effective dose of a strain-suspension of lactobacilli.
