METHOD FOR DETERMINING AN INDICATOR OF UNIQUE PROPULSION SYSTEM UNDER CONDITIONS OF OPERATION OF SHIPS, IN WHICH MAIN ENGINE IS DIESEL

The invention relates to the field of physics and thermodynamics, particularly the technical use of main diesel and ships. There is disclosed a method for determining an index of unique propulsion system under conditions of operation of ships, in which the main engine is a diesel, according to the numerical value of the design speed U, which is given to design the measured speed of a crankshaft, the main diesel selected for installation on a ship, and determined by the formula of a value of specification hourly consumption of liquid fuel under conditions of operation of ships, in which the main engine is a diesel. Then the values are used of hourly consumption of liquid fuel taken from the passport of selected main diesel values and average effective pressure of gases in the point of nominal mode and constant coefficient of selected main diesel and by the formula the index of unique propulsion system under conditions of operation of ships is determined, in which the main engine is a diesel, which provides for simplification and increase of efficiency of use of main diesel and ships.
