The invention relates to a method to support automation of agricultural works with a period of collecting data. According to the invention the method distinguishes by the following steps:- the further processing of recorded data for the profile of context (520) on the basis of rules (510) of context processing;- a selection of information data (560) of the process depending on the profile of context (520) on the basis of rules (540) of identifying the process; and- performing agricultural work depending on selected information data (560) on the process.Due to this a possibility to significantly automate carrying out the agricultural works is achieved.
