A method for developing the individual imitation model of the stress-deformed state of mandible comprises the computed tomography, the delineation of the margins of cortical and spongy layers of mandible according to their X-ray density at the sections of tomographic image. A set of multiple lines corresponding to the delineated margins is generated, and curvilinear planes and volumes that correspond geometrically to cortical and spongy layers are plotted using the standard algorithms. The three-dimensional model of the mandible is divided into a set of discrete volumes. The axes of orthotropic symmetry and values of elasticity module for each discrete volume are defined separately in local coordinate system based on the material constants assessed experimentally.
