METHOD FOR MONITORING TECHNICAL STATUS OF LOAD-BEARING ELEMENTS OF SHIP STRUCTURES

A method for monitoring technical status of load-bearing elements of ship structures, in which in different areas of bearing elements of ship structures sensors are located, whose signal changes allow to determine the technical status of the bearing elements of ship structures. On selected areas of bearing elements the proximity sensors are mounted for measurement of magnetic characteristic. Based on the sensor signals of magnetic characteristics the changes of magnetic characteristic of the metal of a bearing element in the area of location of sensor in operation are determined. Determination of the technical status of the bearing elements of ships is carried out by the changes in the magnetic characteristic of the metal of bearing element in the ship operation.
