METHOD FOR PREDICTING COURSE OF DIFFUSE NON-TOXIC GOITER IN BOYS

A method for predicting the course of diffuse non-toxic goiter in the boys provides for sonography and laboratory methods. The body mass and body height are measured and the medical history is analyzed. The pathology of the labor, low body height, insufficient body mass, concomitant ENT pathology, goiter of grade II-III, high level of thyreotropic hormone in blood are considered as negative predictive factors.
