A thermoelectric generator for recuperation of gas compressor unit waste heat comprises thermoelectric modules, an external casing, a heat tube for heat energy supply and a heat abstraction system; moreover, at one end of the heat tube a vertical branch is installed, located at 90° angle to the main part of the heat tube and being extension thereof, whereon heat-exchanging plates and thermoelectric modules are mounted.
