METHOD FOR TREATING PROXIMAL FEMORAL FRACTURE

A method for treating the proximal femoral fracture comprises the reposition and fixation of the fragments with proximal femoral plate with locking screws. To intensify osteosynthesis, the washer for the head of the locking screw is used. When the screw is tightened, its head is not blocked. Instead, the head is born against the plate and the bone fragments are pressed to each other as well as to the plate. When the locking screws required for the fixation of the fracture are inserted, the screw pressing the fragments is unscrewed, the washer is removed. The intensified osteosynthesis between the fragments facilitates local conditions required for direct fracture union.
