METHOD FOR DETERMINING OCCLUSION OF MICROCAPILLARY BED OF RETINA IN ISCHEMIC FORM OF DIABETIC MACULOPATHY

A method for determining the occlusion of microcapillary bed of the retina in the ischemic form of the diabetic maculopathy comprises the examination of the parameters characterizing the state of the retina, the use of the optical coherent tomography of macula, morphometry with measurement of the total thickness and the thickness of internal, middle and external layers of the ischemized retina with their comparison with corresponding area of intact architectonics without capillary occlusion. The coefficient of ischemia is then calculated.
