METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF DEFORMATION OF GREATER TROCHANTER OF FEMUR

A method for the surgical treatment of the deformation of the greater trochanter of the femur is based on the temporary block of its growth area by implanting the stabilization plate on the lateral side of the greater trochanter fastened with the spongious screws. The plate closes the growth area of the greater trochanter for the specified time. When the angular and linear parameters of the proximal division of femur are normalized, the plate is removed. Simultaneously with implantation of the plate, the apex of the greater trochanter is blocked by the immobile rest attached rigidly with the plate. The rest is designed as curvilinear lugs separated in the frontal plane matching the configuration of the external surface of trochanter apex. The lugs are inserted in the spaces between the gluteus muscles.
