METHOD FOR PREDICTING FIVE-YEAR CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN PATENTS WITH HYPERTENSION OF LOW SUPPLEMENTARY RISK

A method for predicting five-year cardiovascular complications in the patents with hypertension of low supplementary risk provides for taking into account the following factors: the age of the patients, smoking status, the content of the total cholesterol, the level of adrenalin-induced platelet aggregation, the linear blood flow rate in the middle cerebral artery, the end-systolic volume of then left ventricle. When the age of the patient is above 75 years, the content of the total cholesterol is above 4.9 mmol/L, the end-systolic volume of then left ventricle exceeds 40 mL, the maximal linear blood flow rate in the middle cerebral artery is less than 54.1 cm/s, and the level of adrenalin-induced platelet aggregation is more than 85.5 %, 6.3-fold risk increase of five-year cardiovascular events is predicted.
