METHOD FOR TREATING KERATITIS IN SETTING OF INJURED FACIAL NERVE

A method for treating keratitis in the setting of the injured facial nerve comprises the transplantation of glandular mucous autograft from labial mucosa to the wall of the conjunctival sac. The autograft is transplanted with the pedicle with the base of the graft being in the area of the transitional fold and its end close to the vermillion border of the lips.
