A device for protection of a space rocket and ground-based equipment of a launch complex against high-temperature gas flow comprises a reflective surface formed by planes with a slope. The reflective surface consists of equi-inclined planes, which together with a plane of a gas pipe directed along the flow escaping from the gas pipe, forms a triangular-shaped wedge pylon oriented toward the incoming high temperature gas flow, which performs the function of separating and removing from it of deflected high-temperature gas flows in opposite sides with respect to the axis of gas pipe thus excluding one-way force action on the rocket and ground-based equipment of launch facility.
