A process for the preparation of copper-67 (67Cu) isotope for treating cancer involves photonuclear technology at linear electron accelerator using bifunctional ligands. (67Cu) extraction is carried out in a hot chamber of irradiated zinc target in the presence of diantipyrilpropylmethane solution in chloroform.
