The invention relates to a DNA sequence which provides a SCAR marker, and relates to a SCAR primer which is used for producing the SCAR marker of plant screening and cultivating based on drought resistance. The invention also relates to a plant-screening method based on drought resistance. The method comprises the following steps of providing plant materials to be screened; extracting DNA from the plant materials; using the SCAR primer to selectively amplify and encode the drought-resistant DNA part to obtain the amplified SCAR product; separating the amplified SCAR product on separation gel. In the separation gel, the SCAR marker in a single belt is encoded with drought resistance in plant cultivation.
