Procedure predictive calculation of a simulated geometry (Si) of at least part of at menosuna considered cross section (Qi) of a coupling rib (26) to be arranged on the edge (23) of an ophthalmic lens (20) and resulting from the bevelled edge (23) of the ophthalmic lens (20) by means deuna beveling grindstone (212) rotating about an axis of rotation (A6) whose relative displacement conrespecto the ophthalmic lens (20 ) is controlled according to the initial path (CONS1), quecomprende the following steps: a) obtaining at least a portion of said initial path (CONS1) allowing to form porlo least a portion of said engagement ridge (26) b) determining a first approximation (Sii) geometry of at least a portion of said seccióntransversal considered (Qi) of the engagement ridge (26), deduced from the intersection between the beveled muelade (212) and will ophthalmic nte (20) when the beveling grindstone (212) is located in a primeraposición (Posi) its initial path (CONS1), c) determining a second approximation (Sij) of the geometry of at least part of said seccióntransversal considered (Qi) of the engagement ridge (26), deduced from the intersection between the beveled muelade (212) and the ophthalmic lens (20) when the beveling grindstone (212) is located in a segundaposición (Posj) of its initial path (CONS1) different from the first position (Posi), d) determining the intersection between said first and second approximations (Sii, Sij) geometry considered transverse dichasección (Qi) of the engagement ridge ( 26), e) deduced from the determined intersection in step d) the simulated geometry (Si) of said transversalconsiderada section (Qi) of the engagement ridge (26).
