Device for detecting molecules or classes of molecules or mixtures of molecules in human medicine, veterinary medicine or plant diagnostics, diagnostics food, environmental diagnostics, forensic diagnostics, pharmacology, toxicology, autoimmune or metabolic diseases, infectious diseases, genital diseases, parasitic diseases, determination of small molecules such as drugs, medications or metabolites, cell mediators, in tissue typing, typing of species, typing food, typing antigens, typing epitopes and detection of DNA or RNA, characterized by: a) at least two surface areas on a surface of the device are provided with immobilized molecules or classes of molecules, wherein a surface area is used for control purposes, standardization, and the other surface area is used to detect an analyte, wherein: b) the two surface s are structured to contact essentially the same point with a full sample of some molecules to be determined oo classes of molecules or mixtures of molecules, c) in which both surface areas are structured and arranged respect to each other such that evaluated together by forming a graphic layout that can be read visually, and d) in which the surface areas are arranged in a coordinate system or matrix and can be evaluated with the naked eye, e) in the wherein said device is designed as a container, f) in which the surface areas are represented by a plurality of symbols linearly or in a matrix which is arranged in a different way.
