The invention relates to the field of glycoprotein processing in transgenicplants used as cost efficient and contamination safe factories for theproduction of recombinant biopharmaceutical proteins or pharmaceuticalcompositions comprising these glycoproteins. The invention provides a plantcomprising a functional mammalian enzyme providing mammalian GnTII (EC2.4.1.144)l that is normally not present in plants, said plant additionallycomprising at least a second mammalian protein or functional fragment thereofthat is normally not present in plants.
