SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RESTORING WATER SUPPLY PIPES IN BUILDINGS

A system and method for restoring water supply pipes in buildings is provided.Compressed air is blown through one end of a cold water supply pipe, such as acoldwater riser, and elsewhere on the pipe the cold water supply pipe is connectedto the hotwater supply pipe by an air hose. Compressed air may alternatively be blownthrough oneend of the hot water supply pipe. To clean the pipe, abrasive particles areintroduced intothe stream of compressed air upstream of the section of pipe to be cleaned. Toline thepipe, an epoxy coating is introduced into the stream of compressed gasupstream of thesection of pipe to be lined.
