The invention is a steel frame apparatus installed in a safemanner to provide support for the construction of a concrete(Shotcrete) bulkhead. In underground mines, bulkheads / barricadesare used to contain solid material, liquids or as ventilationstops. The bulkhead sites are in dangerous areas and theinstallation of the bulkheads must follow the Mining Act. TheTimony DT1947 onsite assembled apparatus meets the Mining Actrequirements and the engineering containment specifications foruse as a bulkhead and not only a barricade. The main steelcomponents are an anchored top support beams, a locked wall framematrix and an adjustable turnbuckle brace.
