CONTENT QUALITY AND USER ENGAGEMENT IN SOCIAL PLATFORMS

Systems and methods for enhancing content quality and user engagement insocialplatforms are described. In one implementation, a method includes assessing aquality of eachof a plurality of user contributed contents related to at least one topicassociated with a webbased social platform based at least on topic quality assessment parameters togenerate a topicquality score for the at least one topic. Further, the method comprisesgenerating a credibilityscore for each of a plurality of users who contributed the user contributedcontents based inpart on the topic quality score. Based on the credibility scores, at least onecredible user fromthe plurality of users is identified to enhance at least one of quality of theweb based socialplatform and user engagement in the web based social platform.
