METHOD, SYSTEM, MCE, AND BASE STATION FOR ACTIVATING MULTIPLE MBMS COUNTING PROCESSES

Disclosed is a method for activating multiple MBMS counting processes, comprising: a multi-cell/multicast coordination entity (MCE) activating within a correction cycle of a multicast control channel (MCCH) more than two different MBMS counting processes; the different MBMS counting processes having in an MBMS service counting request transmitted by the MCE either a different MBSFN area identity and/or a different MCCH update time. Also disclosed are a system, the MCE, and a base station for implementing the method for activating the multiple MBMS counting processes. The technical solution of the present invention provides the MBMS counting process in existing MBMS system with improved supplement, thereby improving the quality of service of the MBMS system, and improving experience of UE user.
