The ECU (110a) then stands by for a standby time indicated by the standby time information or until a lapse of a specified time and thereafter acquires the vehicle information in accordance with an acquired command indicated by the command information. In this way, the ECU (110a) transmits, to the server (212), the acquired vehicle information at the timing specified as described above.
