An application management server comprises: a terminal management table storing unit that associates and stores terminal apparatus identification data, which is used to identify terminal apparatuses, with information indicating whether to transmit notification data; a registration request receiving unit that receives, from a terminal apparatus, a registration request for registering the transmission of notification data and that updates the terminal management table storing unit on the basis of the registration request; a cancelation request receiving unit that receives, from the terminal apparatus, a cancelation request for canceling the transmission of notification data and that updates the terminal management table storing unit on the basis of the cancelation request; a notification-via-broadcast transmitting unit that performs a processing to transmit the notification data included in a broadcast signal; and a notification-via-communication transmitting unit that refers to the terminal management table storing unit, thereby performing a processing to transmit the notification data to terminal apparatuses.
