Disclosed are a method and apparatus for starting, a method and apparatus for accepting starting, and a method and system for inter-application mutual starting. The method for starting comprises the steps of: receiving an instruction of a client for starting a second application; acquiring login state information of the client in a first application, and generating a starting command for starting the second application; and starting the second application through the starting command, and transferring the login state information of the client in the first application to the second application, to enable the client to automatically log in to the second application. With the present invention, after a client has started an application, the application implements starting on another application, thereby simplifying the starting procedure.
