The invention relates to a solid-state actuator, particularly piezoelectric, drive and to a method for the acquisition of sensor data (o) from such a drive. The drive is configured for driving a shaft (6) in rotation about the shaft axis (X) thereof and for the acquisition of sensor data (o) and comprises a drive body (3), wherein, in a contact section migrating along the shaft circumferential region, a shaft circumferential region of the shaft (6) may be placed in contact with a wall contact section migrating in a peripheral wall circumferential region of the drive body (6), and further it comprises at least two solid-state actuators (2, 4) disposed between bearings (1 and/or 5) and the drive body (3) for placing the drive body (3) in a peripheral displacing movement for driving the shaft (6), and a circuit arrangement for the actuation of at least two of the solid-state actuators (2, 4) and for the acquisition of the sensor data (o). Said drive becomes advantageous in that the circuit arrangement is configured and/or controlled for the measurement of an electrical variable using at least one first such solid-state actuator (2) while, at the same time, at least one second of the solid-state actuators (4) is actuated for performing a movement.
