An alloy steel for casting a crawler plate comprises the following ingredients by weight percent: 0.3-0.37% of C, 0.75-1.05% of Mn, 0.30-0.65% of Si, 0-0.02% of S, 0-0.02% of P, 0.50-1.10% of Ni, 0.70-0.90% of Cr, 0.40-0.60% of Mo, 0.02-0.05% of Al, 0-0.02% of Cu, 0-0.01% of B, and 95.21-97.03% of Fe. Also disclosed are a crawler plate manufacturing method by using the alloy steel, crawler plate manufactured with the method, and engineering machinery. By using the crawler plate cast with alloy steel comprising the alloy elements such as Ni, Cr, Mo and the like, the present invention can improve the strength and rigidity of the crawler plate. Furthermore, by hardening and tempering the crawler plate and quenching a wheel travel surface, the present invention can further improve the overall strength and surface abrasion resistance, thus ensuring a pin lug to have enough strength to withstand extrusion, stretching and impact.
