HEAT EXCHANGER HAVING SIDEMOUNTED AND INTEGRATED TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVE-AND-BYPASS TUBE COMBINATION

A heat exchanger having a sidemounted and integrated temperature control valve-and- bypass tube combination, comprising the heat exchanger (1) and the integrated temperature control valve-and-bypass tube combination. The heat exchanger comprises a left fluid-collecting tube (3), a right fluid-collecting tube (4), and a flat tube (5). The integrated temperature control valve-and-bypass tube combination is mounted on a lateral side of the heat exchanger; the integrated temperature control valve-and-bypass tube combination comprises a temperature control valve (8) and a bypass tube (6). The temperature control valve is arranged at the mid-section of the bypass tube; the temperature control valve comprises a valve body (9), a valve core (10), a piston rod (11), a piston rod base (12), and a spring (13). The heat exchanger is applicable in an automobile hydraulic torque converter. A need to sever the fluid-collecting tubes is obviated when manufacturing, thus, simplified manufacturing process, reduced production costs, and ensured product quality are allowed.
