A separator structure for batteries according to the present invention comprises a laminate of an acrylonitrile fiber non-woven fabric separator and a glass fiber mat separator, wherein at least an acrylonitrile fine fiber having a diameter of 0.5 to 2.0 μm is used in the acrylonitrile fiber non-woven fabric separator.
