[Purpose] To introduce a mixture to be processed, in which powder and granular material with comparatively large specific gravity and hardness and lightweight foreign substances that come along with the same have been mixed, into a system and separate the same by a dry method. [Solution] A powder and granular material separation processing device (X) wherein a dust collection device, electric vacuum cleaner, or other external suction machine is connected thereto, and a mixture to be processed is introduced by suction to a separation processing vessel (1) and, along with recovering the powder and granular material within the system, lightweight foreign substances are discharged outside of the system. The separation processing vessel (1) is provided with a suction introduction tube (2) that receives the mixture to be processed on the circumferential surface and is attached and sealed as an upper part structure of a hopper tank (4) that collects and stores the powder and granular material, and a suction discharge tube (3) that is connected to the external suction machine is provided on the upper surface of the vessel. In addition, the separation processing vessel (1) has a separation cone (11), the bottom surface of which is formed into a funnel shape, and a cylindrical opening (13) that hangs in a protruding shape downward from the tip part of the separation cone (11) and for which the opening diameter thereof is formed with a stepwise reduction. The tip part of the suction discharge tube (3) has a multiple pipe constitution, and each pipe is given a pipe diameter smaller than the opening diameter for the cylindrical opening (13), is loosely inserted, and approaches the tip part of the opening.
