The method involves inserting the textiles into a swivelingly stored laundry drum (7), and pressurizing the laundry with super-heated steam. The super-heated steam is produced in a steam generator, which is integrated in the household machine. The water supplying unit has a valve or a pump (3) for controlling the supply of the steam generator (5) with water by a regulation unit (9,10,11). An independent claim is also included for a household machine, particularly household laundry dryer.
